Spanish-American War

The Spanish-American War was between April 1898-August 1898. Propaganda means information, especially of a misleading nature, used to promote a particular political cause or point of view. Yellow Journalism is journalism that is based upon sensationalism and crude exaggeration.

The states did vote as a bloc. The majority of the states in New England had voted Republican rather than Democratic throughout the elections.

In 1876-1888, the president's elected were all Republican and then in 2008 and 2014, it became Democratic. However, in the 2000s Massachusetts would vote for the Democratic party. Also you notice that the majority of the states in New England voted for the same parties in the 1800s and 2000s.
