Sitting Bull was the leader of his tribe. He led them up to Canada but they died of disease. The authorities made sure he didn't leave. He was arrested in his own home and shot outside of it.

This was where 146 Lakota people died and where 250 were killed altogether. Soldiers would shoot until they have killed every moving person. Bodies were found 3 miles away from the actual shooting.

Big Foot struggled getting out of his blanket and was shot in the head and died instantly. He brought his people to the south looking for others.

This was where 146 Lakota people were buried. They were found 5 days after the massacre. The burial people got $2 per body they buried.
